The Crown Placement Process

The process of getting a crown typically requires two visits to our office. During the first visit, your tooth will be reshaped to fit the crown, which involves removing a portion of the tooth’s outer layer. An impression of your tooth will then be taken and sent to a dental lab where your crown will be custom-made. A temporary crown is placed to protect the tooth while your permanent crown is being crafted. On your second visit, the permanent crown is adjusted for fit and color, then cemented into place.

  I have now been to Premier Dental 3 times. Each visit has been a very pleasant experience. (Something I have never said about a dentist before) Dr. Svitko is incredibly detail oriented, knowledgeable,  kind and the best dentist I've ever been to.
